Statesman Acquires Commodore International Travel

We are delighted to announce that Statesman Travel has completed the acquisition of Commodore International Travel. This is an exciting development for the employees of both companies and our clients, as we will significantly strengthen our position in the U.K. travel industry. On transaction volumes alone we estimate that the business will move into the ‘top 10’ list of U.K. travel management companies. Over the next 12 months we will take time to understand how both businesses can operate more effectively together and what changes, if any, would be appropriate. The overwhelming message is one of continuity. We appreciate that the prospect of change is not always welcome but it can also raise expectations. The Commodore management team are behind this announcement and we will certainly depend upon all of the staff in the future to help us make the combined business even more effective and successful.
